maternity pay

Iam on maternity leave and have been paid in a lump sum for 6 months, but found out that my work got paid for 9 months and told me only 6 months from the inland revenue and so they owe me the rest and said that they might not be able to pay me. what do i do?

Sorry I cant help you with this one but hope you get it worked out soon. Lucky you for being paid 6 months materninty leave though!!

I was going to suggest legal advice, they have been given money for you and not passed it on. They need to pay you no matter what. Good luck with getting it sorted.

Just wanted to say good luck...i deffinatly think they would have to pay you all the money i get but im not an expert lol

Are you in a union or anything? They should be able to guide you in the right direction.
