I just called work today asking what the process is for going back to work.

Now, I'm in the lowest bracket (Bracket 1 - which is only 20-42hrs per fortnight) and although I have to be avaliable at all times, I've got plenty of people that I can call upon to swap shifts with.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to going back and I guess the reason I am looking forward to it is a bit of normality in my life (My grandfather, when I was younger, used to really put to us how important it was to work and I've just grown up with the whole 'You have to work to survive' attitude) and also that when I get home from a hard day at work, it'll be a huge reward to see my DS smiling face (or sleeping face, dependant on which shift I'll be working) when I get home.
That, plus, I know that he'll be looked after (either by DH or my ILs - again depending on what shift) so well while I'm at work that I don't need to fret.

All I need to do is call them up and let them know with 1 weeks notice when I intend on coming back so I can be put on the roster.
Also, some of the ladies in the chat will know this, I put in for an Higher Duties Attendant role - Basically, a supervisor role, while will only be one day a fortnight, and the person who I rung to ask about that stuff said she was really happy to see that I applied for it. I said to her 'I know I've been away for a while, but I didn't see the harm in applying for it' to which she replied 'It's nothing for you - you pick up the games so quickly and you have a great repore` with the patrons that I'm just glad you applied'

So, that's it - My only problem is, I really don't know when to go back. We need the money - badly - and I have to give only a weeks telephone notice (so the earliest I will go back is the end of March) but I was hoping to go back by the first week of April - Anyone think that should give me enough time to find things for work (shoes - seeing the other ones won't fit anymore) and all my work stuff?
