When did you start maternity leave?

I'm finishing up today - made it to 36 weeks!

For my second bub, i left work the week before my c/s and had to come in 1-2 days before my c/s to help replacement with something In effect i worked till i was 37.5 weeks and had bubs at 38.5weeks. My work is in an office environment and i had it pretty easy. It was just the travelling on public transport which made it hard as people would not offer me a seat.

woohoo treetops! sounds like u're stopping about the same time as me? 27th Feb is my last day of work planned at 36 weeks 1 day, with hopefully somewhere around 4 weeks at home am taking 2 weeks annual leave and 2 weeks unpaid leave, then the paid maternity leave will kick in so yay only 24 days of work left after today!

I was going to finish on the 27th, but decided to take Fridays off, so my last day is the 26th

I'm doing an office job, and we've got a nice airconditioned environment, but I'm keen to rest up at home for a while

Turkish Delight - that's bloody awful that people don't offer you a seat! I've only been in the situation once where there wasn't a spare seat. It only took about 5-10 seconds before I was offered a seat. I'm a bit over the public transport, but DH has been driving me in a lot recently.

hehe nice so you finish a day before me! yep air con in our office too..cept it cacked it on tuesday when it was 37 degrees and got to 31 degrees in the office!!! yuucckk!!
