OK, I have a new ambition in life. I want to learn how to cook a really really good meatloaf. My grandma used to do one that was legendary (it had eggs in the middle and a gorgeous scrummy tomato sauce on the outside) but unfortunately she passed before I got the opportunity to spend time with her in her kitchen.
So, ladies & gents, I'm after your meatloaf secrets...I don't want ordinary recipes, I want the really sooper dooper ones, preferably with sauce tips too, plus any little tricks you do to get it just right...!
I will find out mums scotch egg recipe. she does a chicken one, and cheats and buys a spiced chicken mince from leonards to make the ones with the eggs in the middle.
I used to have the best recipe...but I cant find it. I do know that instead of just using beef mince it had 1/2 pork mince + 1/2 Beef mince + Chopped Bacon...and it just makes it so yummmmmy.
Meatloaf secrets...?
