    Question Bruised Feeling 36+ weeks

I have been feeling a tightness in my waist for a couple of weeks. I've now given up work on OB's orders and it's gotten worse.

It almost feels like I've been bruised from the inside. It's so sore I can hardly rest on either side.

When I get up it feels like my muscles have tightened and I can't stand upright for about 6 steps.

I can't drive either as I wince every time I turn, go over a bump or look over my shoulder.
I’ve had back issues from 20weeks and have been seeing my physio who helps with my pelvis pain but has no idea about this pain either.

I’m still having Braxton Hicks which are funnily enough less painful than this bruised feeling.
Bubs is still very active and no other signs of labor yet.

I've been looking on the net and haven't found anything helpful.

    Any suggestions? books? Sights?

Just to let anyone know who's interested.
It turns out that I have a mini hurnia on my right side.
OB said panadol and strapping the area are the best thing to do.
I don't know if the panadol is working but the strapping is a god send, just relieving some of the pressure.
I still don't feel confident driving by sleeping so much better.
