Can a doctor give me anything for an ear infection while pregnant?

Didnt want to waste my time going there if all the doctor was going to say was "take panadol". My daughter has the same thing and it also made her sinuses infected and she is on antibiotics so I was kinda hoping I can get something too.

I had antibiotics whilst pg,(not an ear infection though)

I have tonsilitus (sp) and was prescribed antibiotics yesterday but I am checking with my ob this morning prior to taking them. The Gp said penicillan was fine to take during pregnancy. I toyed with just riding out the tonsilitus but I am in agony and just want to get well before I have this baby.

Nah its not a good idea to just try and ride tonsilits out cos after a while u get blood poisoning and end up in hospital. Its horrible. U cant move anymore from the pain in every joint and muscle in your body.
