persistant headache after banging head!

Hey everyone,
I dont know if this is the place to post this and I really should go to the doctor! but yesterday at my antenatal appt I went to pick up my son and threw my head back quickly and hit it on a cabinet behind my chair. Since then I have had a persistant headache that panadol wont even ease. Im really worried about it and wonder if anyone knows if I could have done some damage?? Im not dizzy or anything like that.
