    *tmi* Hemeroids

This is a bit tmi, so I apologise has anyone got any tips for getting rid of them? I seem to have developed a small external one that is sore I have never had one in my life so I am at a bit of a loss.
    Thanks

I went to the health food shop and they were really good there and they gave me a cream for it - I can't remember the name for it atm but if you would like to know, just let me know and I'll check it out. I'd recommend going to a health shop as I would prefer to go as natural as possible especially during pregnancy.

I too got hemorrhoids when I was pregnant which were awful

As well as the cream (which works well and quickly so GO GET IT ) - make sure you're keeping up enough with enough water to keep things, umm softer, and try not to put off going to the loo if you feel the urge. I got one after birthing and it was just awful - hope it clears up for you soon.

I got awful roids after DD's birth. Hemocaine cream helped with the pain. I had to do anusol supps as well which helped heaps with pain and healing. also witch hazel soaked cottonballs are awesome to shrink them. Try to take a warm bath with some salt added. It does wonders. And yes - drink heaps and heaps of water and add Benefibre to your drinks/ meals for soluble fibre.

Someone mentioned in another thread that coconut butter/oil is meant to be good for them.
I have one too but its not overly painful, it's just annoying more than anything!

Thanks girls I'll have to get off to the chemist today. It's not super painful, but is very annoying. Hopefully I can get something to shrink it.

From the chemist, they had both the liquid and some facial wipes with witch hazel in them. They both have the same ingredients so I use the wipes to soothe after BA and I'm putting the Liquid on first thing in the morning after a shower and leaving it on over night

Do you just dab a bit on?

    haha

Yep I just dab it on, I try to push a bit too to get it to go back where it came from as that eases the discomfort as well IYKWIM.

Overnight I soak a cotton ball and leave it on all night.
