    WORRIED - BF 29wks preg ripping pain in tummy

    Hi,,

    I am worried sik my BF and i are due the same day and last night she had a ripping/tearing feeling in her groin, today its still there and has moved to the middle of her tummy.... she hasnt bled yet or anything and has felt bubs move a ciouple of times...

    I am worried sick that something is wrong - has anyone else experienced this

    She is on her way to the hospital now

    Sorry I can't help you with that experience, but if she's heading to hospital, that's the best place for her. I hope she and her bubby are ok.

    She went adn they think it was just muscle related - bubs is fine.. Phewwwwwww

    Yeah, it might be her ligaments softening up - or perhaps her stomach muscles not coping. I know someone who's abdominal muscles tore in pregnancy - eek!

    I've been having a ripping sort of pain across my abdomen for the last week or so, only when I've been working all day. As soon as I put my feet up and have a rest it goes. I figured it was muscular.

    So glad your friend is okay

    Well the doc has probably told her what to do but it could be from her trying to do too much. I find I fare a lot better when I take plenty of regular breaks through the day. She'll find this even more important as time goes on.

    Glad to hear she's OK though!

    Relieved to know your friend and baby are both okay. How scary !
