How to know when dilated

I am 35 wks pregnant will be delivering on 31st via c section.
Ive been having hot cold sweats and fever at night last two nights but not high only 38 But i am normally 36.

I feel heaps of pressure down there and thsi morning its like bulging not out the vagina just the surrounds. I have pelvic and girdle problems And take extra iron as i am a bit low. I have no local dr and if i squat its like the head is right there i actually can feel the head in my vagina the touch you feel this big round hard thing that some times moves when touched.

I have had my uterus lifted before due to prolapse but dont feel its protruding out side of me at this point and its very low. no contractions some pains but unsure to what they are related to baby moving or my varigis veins on the uterus. Got MF appointment on tuesday.
is there some way i can check if im dilating i certainly don't want to go into labor and deliver naturally when im booked for my c section. Is it possible to be dilating with no pains as such. i have been exhausted last few days and been in bed due to lack of sleep with aching swollen ankles and knees.
