my dd has a staph infection, how will that affect me in 1st tri

my dd 12 has been in high school 6 months, she never got anything but lice in primary school, looks like we have left that all behind!
in june she got school sores, it was on her thigh and and her arm, she recieved antibiotics and it healed but left behind scars.

on the weekend as my daughter was getting ready for dance i walked in on her and noticed this horific rash and lumps all under her armpit, it was red and nasty and went down the torso, it was the same arm as the school sores, when i asked her about it she didnt she didnt realise it was that bad. it started off as what she thought was a red mozzie bite, it is also on the thigh. a trip to the drs and he said its a staph infection.
bassically caused by the school sores.

my hubby forgot to mention to the dr that i am in my first trimester.
i know it can be contagious, and im trying to avoid contact with her, but what can it do to the baby?

ill be seeing my dr at the end of the week, and ive tried google, but has anyone been exposed here?

I've got no idea but you could try calling nurse on call. They'd be able to help.

    How she's better soon

I agree with melbournemumma - I think you need to either go to the doctor today for advice or in the absence of doing that contact nurse on-call
