    Inconclusive scan results

Please help! I'm 12 weeks pg today after FET, and so far everything seemed to be going fine. I went for a scan at 10w2d because I was feeling a bit anxious because my doc couldn't really see the baby moving too much on her old machine in her office.

At the time of the scan, everything looked fine to me. But I'm no doctor of course. I had to wait until today for results as my doc was away, and now they've phoned to tell me to go for a Tertiary Scan in the city on Thursday and a possible CVS!

They can't tell me whats wrong and after three phonecalls to them in tears, the receptionist finally got my chart out and said it was something "inconclusive" which required further investigation. Something to do with the Abdomen and Skull, Possible Oedema maybe caused by viral infection... I'm so scared now. I'm convinced something is wrong. In the scan pics, on the one with the head circumference, it looks like theres alot of fluid around the baby's skull. The head circumference seemed to measure 2 weeks ahead! Have you ever heard anything like this? Please help me if you can...?

Thank you so much. I just got back and can't believe it myself, but it went well. I didn't have the CVS afterall as the risk came back at 1 in 950! The NT is slightly bigger than it should be (between 2.65 and 3.03mm) but its not as bad as I was imagining. The baby has a nasal bone too. I'm sure everything will be okay. I couldn't go thru with the CVS and risk losing the bub after all I've been thru to get here. I don't know why they were worried in the first place but thank God all is okay. Thank you for all your wishes! x
