Good morning Kitt3n, you can try cabbage, steam a leaf to make it soft then cool it down and put it on in your bra. Itchyness is caused by qi stagnation in chinese med, meaning the energy isnt moving freely, which is why scratching feels so good, cabbage might do the trick as it promotes movement. gl

and you can start a new fashion trend.

Geez, I didn't realise Pammy had itchy nipples when she wore that dress, with boobies her size no wonder she covered herself in those leaves...

Just wondering, would the cabbage work for hands and underneath the breasts too? I'm constantly itchy in those places and it's getting to the point where they are going numb yet still itching, although my OB doesn't see anything wrong with it.

JennaJayen, I've never prescribed it for application there so I dont know, by all means give it a go, I would suggest under the breasts may work well and the hands, being tougher, may take longer to respond. Please let us know how you get on..

It worked wonders last night while it was on there, but once it was off I started to get itchy again.

Found out why at my ob appointment today, my nerves are being overstretched and are sorta short-circuiting a bit.

Thanks heaps though, I got a bit of a nap in yesterday arvo because of it.

Mine drove me crazy most of my pg! The BEST thing was Lansinoh (the nipple cream stuff in the purple tube). It really helped to soothe the itching (and was great for the early days of BFing too ). I put it on each day after my shower. Oh, and make sure you don't get any soap-type things anywhere near your nipples!

Good luck hun, it's sooo annoying!

hi - you probs don't have itchy nips anymore ... but i thought i'd share a funny story.

In first tri i had such itchy nipples it was UNBEARABLE - i did everything from scratching them non-stop, to not scratching at all (almost got a nervous twitch doing that LOL), moisturiser. NOTHING...

one day i got a hairbrained idea that if i stuck bandaids on there and ripped them off that would stop it.... ... DP thought i was completely bonkers ... but i did it. it worked for a night - i didn't do it again.

lo, no they arent any more, but you certainly made me pull a face, OWWWWWWW!!!

    Thanks for sharing!

ps - when i was out and about (was still at work when this was happening) I was popping on pawpaw ointment which kinda did the trick
