    Test for Thalassaemia in pregnancy

    Has anyone else been tested for this as a cause for anaemia?

    My doctor had me have another blood test to check for thalassaemia today. I said "Isn't it congenital?" but she said it can mask as other things and surface in pregnancy! Far out, I don't need something else lol.
