    Arrythmia/ Ectopic heartbeats

I've had funky heartbeats occasionally (like every 3 weeks or so) for ages- its been looked into and there was nothing to be concerned about.

But for the past 4 days, I've suddenly had them like 20-30 times a day. They are unpleasant and freaking me out. I saw the Dr this morning, who did an ECG and I am officially NOT having a heart attack

Nonetheless, I am supposed to go back to the cariologist and have him check it out again since it suddenly got so frequent.

Just kind of worried about it and wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?

DH has an arrythmia (and a bunch of other heart stuff, Dr's look truly scared of him when he explains it) and he said that it's when it's unusual that you should go check it out, although he was also told that the only thing to really worry about was if you had an infection and it got to your heart (that could just be his heart thing though).
So, getting it checked by a cardio sounds like a good plan, but not a reason to freak out. It's really good that you've gotten on top of it already, I hope you get told something extremely reassuring!

My SIL had an irregular heart beat and palpatations. She had excess heart tissue that they burnt away with an angiogram. Was over with quickly and given her no trouble since. They even gave her the all clear for another baby without a high risk label so she is happy about that.

Not saying that that is what it is, but if it is, they can fix it nice and quick and have you fighting fit in no time. Hope it is something a little simpler though!
