dermoid cyst while pregnant

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with having had a dermoid cyst removed during or after pregnancy? I dont find out anything more until I have yet another *uncomfortable* ultrasound in 4 weeks! :-({|=

Thanks for writing back so quickly. It's about 5cm x 4.2cm.

Yours started to twist?? How big was yours that it was starting to twist or does size have no bearing, and also how painful was the op?


The ironic thing is that I think I caused this by taking the pill continuously! I wont be doing that again.

omg the size of a football?! Ill just shut up now...

I guess the reason I suspect the pill business is because I had Kai 8 years ago and nothing abnormal was on those ultrasounds, combined with the lack of bleeding once Id gone off the pill and pain in that region.... But maybe its just something that went undetected and slowly grew and grew

yucky indeed. Im NOT looking forward to getting it out. Anyway, I wish you all the best luck wih the pill
