My hearing keep going funny!!! Every now and then my hearing goes completely wacko - everything sort of sounds robotic/underwater.... music sounds completely off key and horrible, voices are quite hard to hear and almost echoey... It has happened a couple of times before, but happened yesterday for an hour and today for about 20 mins. It's pretty scary! It also went a bit funny this morning for 5-10 mins, but different... not echoey, just muted? ITMS.

From what I know, Tinitus is a rining or buzzing in the ear, which generally happens all the time... my funny hearing is coming in bouts! I don't get dizzy with it or anything like that, my hearing is fine one minute and weird the next.

I am going to wait and see if it keeps happening and I will book in to get my ears tested... but in the meantime what do you all think it could be? Does anyone suffer from something similar?
