Bit of history - When I was pregnant with DD, I had four fibroids that grew quite large and it was a concern that I wouldn't be able to have a natural birth, because one is very close to the birth canal and my ob didn't believe she would get past it. Lucky for me, she did. But the ob said that before I think about getting pregnant again, I should have the fibroids removed. Before DD, I also miscarried and the fibroids were quite possibly the reason, if bubba tried to latch on to a fibroid area.
Has anyone had them removed successfully? How long were you laid up for, if at all? DD isn't walking yet, so if I get them removed soonish, there is still a lot of picking her up going on, would I still be able to do this?
