    glandular fever

I returned to work 3 weeks ago and have had the last 2 off. I found out my BT results today that show I have glandular fever. Now I have to give myself permission to rest, rest, rest when I feel that I'm letting work down.

What I'm worried about is DD (8 months) getting it. We're still breastfeeding so that should protect her, right? She's with me all the time except the 3 days she goes to family day care (at least I have that down time since I'm 'supposed' to be working) so I don't see how she can't get it.

I'm not too sure hon, I'd probably give your GP a call and ask if there are any precautions you need to take and what to look out for. I had it when I was in high school, it can be pretty full-on for the first couple of weeks, but I remember it settling down after that. Like you said, as long as you rest whenever you can you can get over it pretty quickly.
