How are you going now? I also have MD and haven't been coping well with it while trying to take care of a baby. Mine got very bad towards the end of August and only recently I have started doing a bit better. I am on a strict low salt diet and taking Serc. I really hope it lasts though! One of my main problems now is that I suffer from anxiety that I will have a vertigo attack at any moment.
Stretcher Bearer - I am a member of the Meniere's Australia Support Group and I do recommend it. There is also an email support group. If anyone is interested just send me a PM and I'll send the details. It is good getting the newsletters and hearing about other people. But it seems like everyone is much older and not going through this disease with children. I'd love to talk to people who have been through this disease and gone on to have subsequent pregnancies. At the moment I am wondering if it's possible to have another pregnancy when my first one really stirred up the disease a lot for me.
My stepmum has MD so i have heard much of her frustrations I really hope it settles down for you... having a chronic illness myself (thyroid) I know how hard it can be caring for small children too. Take each day as it comes sweet *more hugs*
