anti d's and cold tablets

i have a terrible cough at the moment and have had for the past week, surprised i havent coughed up a lung yet :P, coughing so much im constantly dry reaching, anyway i decided today to bite the bullet and get cold and flu tablets, after speaking to the pharmacist she checked that the ones i got were ok for breastfeeding mums, but i didnt realise til i got home that your not ment to take then while on anti depressants, i only take 25mg of zoloft every second day, but what is the problem with combining the two medications?????

I know my DH took some once while he was on aropax and they did not mix well - he felt as though his ad's were not working. Maybe ring the pharmacy and ask???
