Question Not exactly sure what this is?

Just tonight I was chasing after my DD and felt something "come out out" of my vagina. I felt it and it literally felt like the inside of it had come to the outside - no pain. I checked it later and it was back in but now it's back out.

This happened to me after birth of DD when she was about 9 months old. My DS is now 3months old. Back then the doc said to keep up with pelvic floor exercises but should I be doing something mroe - I do forget to do them

    Hi JordieC

I would suggest that you return to your GP. It does sound like some kind of 'prolapse' for want of a better term. You can also self-refer to a Physiotherapist who specialises in pelvic floor. They can do wonders with exercises etc. If this fails - there is also the option of surgery to fix the problem.

This is not something that you should 'learn to live with'. Too many women put up with pelvic floor problems including weak bladder because they think there is no other option.

    Best of luck

My first thought is prolapse. Definitely get checked out by your doctor and a physio that specialises in womens health. They will show you how to get your pelvic floor nice and strong to prevent it happening again, hopefully that is all you'll need to do.
