Persistant sore throat.

Hi I have had a very sore inflammed throat for about 3 weeks now,I`ve had my Toncils out years ago,but the Doctor say`s it will go away without taking antibiotics,but it`s still sore,hard to swallow,need to eat soft foods,and Iam sucking on Stephils and buttermenthols,and it doesn`t work. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get rid of a sore throat,please. Thanks.

iodine gargle, like betadine works for me I have constant touncilittis ...

My doctor warned me when I got my tonsils out it would just mean more throat infections instead... so comes with no tonsils I hear you though.

You might like to try a naturopath or TCM therapist who can help with some good remedies.

Hey Rach,are you serious,lol, sounds like your trying to kill me,what would that taste like? My DH thinks this is hilarious,as it hurts to talk,my kids love it,can`t yell at them,lol. I`ll keep that one up my sleeve!

Kelly,I had no idea that having your toncils out gave you more problems,I`ve always wondered why I have so many probs with my throat,now i know,thanks for your advice.

you buy the stuff to gargle not everyday betatdine go to chemist... they should have the iodine gargle
