    Motion Sickness

I have suffered motion sickness all my life and find I am getting better in the car but put me on a boat or plane and I get vomity sick. Just wondering what you have found really good at stopping the motion sickness on a plane. I am flying in a couple of weeks with DH and DD and don't really want to be sick. I will also be 23 weeks pregnant so can't take any of the good stuff.

Phenergun may help. It can be used as an anitemetic (anti nausea drug) and also can make you a bit sleepy and relaxed which may help.

Have you tried the seabands? I used them for my morning sickness, and we ended up getting a second pair for DD to wear while we are in the car. The last time she didn't wear them, she ended up being sick poor darling. We popped them on and she was fine for the remainder of the trip, even though it wasn't all that long.

i hear you on the motion sickness. Even put me on the harbour where it is not that choppy and I will be sick!! It has worsened with pregnancy. One thing that I found really good as vegemite. Just dipping my finger in it and tasting the saltiness in my mouth really took away that awful feeling and calmed my stomach. There is no proven method to it, it is just something that works for me. Putting an icepack behind my neck also helps as I get extremely hot when I start to feel motion sickness so that would take my mind of it.
