    deep vein thrombosis of the arms

    hey every one
    just wondering whether any one has any experiences they could share
    i have been diagnosed with a DVT of the brachial vein and one also in the radial vein of the right arm i'm on 100mg daily of clexane injections for another 10 days and 5mg of warfarin for the next 9 months they have put it down to my last study session which was a mamoth 17 hours of typing study notes sitting at the computer also being a smoker and being on the pill what i wanted to know was when will i start to feel semi normal again ... i'm so tired ...and my arm is killing me it is so very sore to touch or move
    any help appreciated

    My MiL had/has a DVT in her leg. Not sure myself how different that is, but hers was pretty big. From her pelvis to her knee.
    It was christmas 3 years ago she found out & is still having monthly or fortnightly BT & is still on warfarin.
    I think once the swelling went down she started feeling better, but that took a month or 2 from what I remember.
