Sometimes you need to treat three ways- with an AB for infection, a steroid to soothe, and and antifungal. But if you dont get any relief, get another opinion. I don't want to alarm you but breast cancer sometimes manifests first as a rash in the nipple area, so if it worsens or shows no improvement then you may need to insist on getting it investigated to rule that out.
