Mummy25.... I was reading your post and it sounds so much like my life. I too was 15 when i had my daughter who is 13 but all my kids have my surname i made sure of that just for that reason of people judging.Im 29 and not married but was once. We dont have much money either but the kids never ever go without and are always doing a sport which cost heaps to put them in but its cheap entertainment on the weekends sitting there watching them. I too have a 4 bedroom house with two bathrooms two lounge rooms. We have two dinning rooms and one is almost fully closed in(3and a half walls) so i got a nice curtain and rode and made that into the 5th bedroom. I too have converted half the garage into my daughters room. I got a piece of rope and went to spotlight and got a piece of caleco(cant spell) the lenthe of the garage. I sewed a rode pocket top on it by hand and bobs your uncle a wall at the cost of about $40 dollors and it can be pulled down at any time.
So for the show ive seen them all the J family now has 17 KIDS(out of control).
We have a pretty good system in our house cause I did a roster and its awesome. My two 8 and 6 year olds do the dogs unpack the school bags tidy the bathroom after there baths and set the table and take the rubbish out. And the next day who ever didnt do the dogs does them. And my daughter does the stacking of the dishwasher and the things that need hand washing and put all the folding away. I only started this system 10 months ago but it works and i still have to tell them sometimes but they do it. And they hardly ever get money for doing it cause i forget to give it to them and they forget to ask. But mu daughter get her $49 dollar cap each month for her phone. When you start having more then the norm family there just isnt enough hours in the day. Sometimes everyone gets lazy and they start to stuff under there beds and just being lazy so i call a family meeting and i have a list of things that i found that day
-
WOW Em, what a system. Wish my house ran like that. I am chief bottle washer around here doing pretty much everything and trying to fit work in between all of that. I'm also the taxi service for the kids to and fro from school and friends houses. I'm referee between my 2 eldest boys pretty much everyday. I'm farmer joe cleaning the horse paddock and looking after the horse and property in general. Then as well as looking after the human family i have to look after the dog & cat families. My life is never dull, but to be perfectly honest i like it this way. The kids do help, but i prefer to do it all myself that way i know it will be done. Well i better get going. Got to finish my cuppa, get ready to do the school run as well as get ready for a job interview this morning, then come home and finish cleaning the house because our accountant & financier are coming this afternoon to tell us about our house options. Cheers kiya
-
 Oh i still do all those things too school run take the boys to training twice a week wash windows mop twice a week bathrooms twice a week cook every night wash twice a day folding ironing it just never end. And when it comes to things being clean and things being where they belong im my own worse enermy cause i just never sit down cause there is ALWAYS something out of place. I wish i could be lazy and learn to relax but no not me. I put some pics im my gallary of my roster and the 2 makeshift rooms. Take a look might give you some ideas
-
wow Em you are so orginased. Just love what you did with the Ebonys room. BTW i love those baby bottles. What brand are they and where did you get them from ? They are gorgeous. The only babe i was able to bf was Maddison and that was only till i had my TL done. They said i had to stop because i wouldn't be able to feed for 2 weeks after the op because of the heparin. I loved bfing. Oh well, maybe next time i will have my shining moment to bf again. Cheers kiya
-
I seen the bottles on ebay but i didnt bl00dy win them and i seen it was a USA seller. So my sister lives there so i sent her on a hunt to find them(hell or high water i was getting them). She found them at Walmart $20 for a pack of 2 X125mls and 2 x250mls and a bottle brush. I just had to have them. I'll get you some when you get PREGNANT as a gift so hurry UP!!!!
-
i recently found some preemie sized bottles on ebay in US and bid & won them. I thought they would be perfect for the first few weeks because they are smaller and the baby only needs small amounts. They are 60ml/2oz bottles. You can't find them here so when i saw them i had to have them. They are gorgeous and wish they sold them over here because it is costing me heaps to ship them back here, but when you want something, you just got have it and don't care about the shipping. I did that for the extra bits & pieces for the bertini bidwell i won on ebay. Now i have the complete set with seperate bassinet and matching nappy bag. $1000 pram and accessories for $250. Can't beat that, and i love the colour of black/charcoal with charcoal stars & moons. Now all i need to get is the cot and a new car seat because the one i had for Maddison even though we got it new, i don't think is safe enough now, besides it is good to buy a new one. Cheers kiya

Hi everyone,
sorry I havnt been around much lately, great to hear your all doing well.
Welcome mummy25 and best wishes on you TTC journey.
I`ve been a bit blah after my m/c and cycles are all over the place, I`m wondering if I should go on the pill for a couple of cycles to get them back on track.. af came 6 weeks after m/c then I had a 40 day cycle (so you can imagine I was a little OMG could I be pg... wishful thinking) and the witch stayed for 8 days.... before m/c she was only around for about 3.
hey Em, you sound so together!!! I have a cousin that has 5 kids all under 8 + a teen and she has everything going like clock work... says she has to or she would go mad !!!
Kiya - sounds like your all set. hope your first try is the one cant wait to follow your story.. Just to update you on the filly I told you about a few weeks ago. I`ve decided to keep her and she is lunging now and almost stops soley by voice comands. Long way to go though....
Storm - great to hear things are starting to come together for you slowly and hope you catch that egg soon...
must go, will catch up again soon
-
hey onemore. great to hear from you again. glad to hear about your filly. it is good when with a little hard work they come together nicely. even better when on voice command. my gelding goes on voice command, and sometimes he does his transitions from trot to canter himself as he knows when i ask for that transition after a few circles. sorry to hear that your cycles are all over the place. i can totally relate to that happening especially after my m/c. yeah i can't wait to get started, but i also know i want to have my new house for when it does arrive home, so just have to juggle everything for a little bit, but i know it will all work out. em does sound like she is so with it and runs a nice tight ship. better get back to my cleaning. a few more hours and i will know for sure what is happening and whether i get my new house soon or have to wait just a few more months. cheers kiya

Hi again wow I go out for the day and I see you have all been very busy on here LOL....
I am not as organised as you are mumof5 I have chores for the kids but I do most of it myself Grrrr....
Though they do have to take out the rubbish, fill the pool when the water gets a bit low, pick up the doggy DoDo (they fight who gets this one)....
and feed the dogs..... (we have 2 labradors....)
some times I get them to pull the clothes off the line for me but they tend to loose my pegs so I dont ask them often.....
my house is always tidy but not as it should be, I'm not super clean just neat.....
my kids hide their toys under their beds and when asked to clean their room my boys have a screaming match about who is not helping or doing it right lol....
when we brought our house in december 07 they already had the garage properly converted into a room, (they used this as a beaty salon) it has internal access and it's own access from outside, so we are going to put a wall down the middle and make 2 new bedrooms. I shall take a pic and post it on here later when kids asleep to show you what it looks like....
your idea aounds great and $40 wow thats even better but my hubby wants it done with the wall....
we certainly do sound alike.....
my daughter is 13 she will be 14 on August 27th..... (i had her at fairfield hospital in sydney)...

hi everyone espescially to mummy25 welcome! i have a question i was supposed to have af on the 25th of feb no show she came twice in jan. just after i ovulated i had a little show of cm. and thought nothing of it. is this a sign of pregnancy? thanks:)
-
Hi Onemore so glad your back. Im so so sorry your still having a rough time and its just never nice is it. I think i delt with mine as good as i did because i still had one bub. Yes i have to be on top of things and keep a tight routine or the hole house just goes to S H I T! And they kids start going CRAZY!!!
I was talking to my specialist at the hospital the other day and she was asking me all about what ive been thru. And she said that 2 years is normaly normal to fall pregnant after a T/R.
MRSjac.... good to hear from you. Hope its a good sign
-
Hello mrsjac I'm not sure maybe you should get a test.
This will sound stupid right but today I swore I had a baby kicking in me, and the same thing happined last week. Dam I'm loosing it... LOL....
I have still been getting my period but they Jump around alot (like Jan it came 13th and feb the 7th)....
I have this stabbing pain too in my side (one side but only lasts a few minutes) think maybe I could have ovulated....
Dont want to go to the doc cause he would think I am nuts.....
maybe i could ask for an untrasound to see the position of the clamps, make sure they have not moved????
can we fall preg with clamps on? has it happined to anyone here?
my clamps have been on for 3 and a half years now, they done them when I was in having my daughter by c/s....
-
so how do I add photo's?
I have had a look but cant seem to find how to add them?.
any advice LOL (probebly easy and i am probebly going blind in my old age.
-
Hey Dea, good to see you. I would get a test. Do you feel preg ? Hmmmmm me thinks you might be. I'm sending preggy vibes your way. Cheers kiya
-
mummy25......to answer your question about falling preg while your tubes are tied....yes it can happen, but it is not common for a preg to continue as normally it ends in either an ectopic more times than not, and if it does end up in the right spot, it normally won't go past a few weeks.....i have had 3 pregs while i have had my TL, but they have never gone past 8 weeks and have always ended up in m/c Cheers kiya
-
Mummy25- Click on Gallary up the top. once your in there click on my photos and then go to upload photo and it should be fine.

hey em, wow 30 weeks. i have been very busy movin into my mums to help her. it is very squashy... six children in one room, and i sleep on a pull out couch.... i am so excited for em. my friend had her baby girl 6 weeks ago and i got to see her today. we so forget how small they really are.. i was so embrassed... i felt so uncomfortable holding her, like i had forgotten how... off to uni next week.... so stressed already.........i have to wait unitl first, then hopefully get af and then go for the hsg to see whats happin
mrs jac, good to hear from you hope you are pregnant..
mummy25, hi and welcome to you... I heard about a dr at the mater public but you might have to wait some time to see him... Dr Yazdani was his name. Hope you find someone that doesn't cost you as much as it cost me. It also depends on the condition of you tubes... I paid 10k.. yes 10k... anyway hopefully you will find someone.
kiya, not long now..........
-
Hey Luv.... Moving in with your mum is gunna be tight. Howcome your moving in there? Whatdoes your DH think about that?
Hope you get to do your HSG real soon. You seem very busy and tied up. Things are gunna get busy with going back to Uni
-
I posted a new belly pic. God im so done
-
HI luvchildren Thankyou for the welcome, wow 6 kids in one room I would go Insane LOL.
my children had to sleep in our family room before we moved here as their rooms were packed and that was hell (pure hell) they would not go to sleep, and argued and argued...
and 10k for reversal omg thats huge.
can get it done for $7600 up here but still too much, I want to give IVF a go but my partner is still hesitant so I'll need a few more weeks to winge and wine to get my way LOL.... , (kids were naughty today, craig said and you want more of them ????
so we had a bad day, lunch order day they always come home HYPO, gosh knows what they buy prob lollies and red drink)
mumof5 wow your belly is progressing well, I was not even your size when my bubs were born, I had a basket ball and gained only 5 kg each with the last 4
mind you they were 7'9, 6'10, 7'4, 6'13 (I think) and 5'4 in order of their ages, some say they get bigger, mine got smaller.....
Had a look in my gallery, found photos but dont seem to have an upload button, I give up lol......
I have Just put 4 of my children up for child modelling, and Just submitted pictures via the net, I was reading a mag today and in it was a few storys about child modelling, and how much they earn, OMg.... mine have blond hair and big blue eyes so I thought what the heck I'll give it a go, fingers crossed, I didint put my 6 year old up though as he has speech and hearing and they think maybe slight autism so I thought best to keep him out of that for now.
Anyone on here had their kids with an agency? if yes do Tell...
-
Yeah i feel like a hippo but i havent put any weight on as yet! Mine were 8p 11oz, 7p 9oz, 8p 4oz, 7p 9oz, 7p 14oz.
So mine were all up and down but my first has always been my biggest
-
Hey nice belly there, small in comparison to what I was with mine, especialy the second !! 8p 13oz and 10p 11oz... the hospital didnt have baby clothes to fit him !!
Mummy if you are interested in looking into a reversal I had mine done at the Royal Womens in Melb at no cost. There are no guarantees and its a pretty big op but like you funds were a problem and DH didnt want to do IVF. I`ve had one pg 14 months after op but sadly I m/c at 9 weeks. Also with reversal there is higher risk of ectopic pg.. You just have to weigh up the pros and cons and consider your position, what ever you chose will be the right one for you..
mrsjac:crossfingers::crossfingers: for you, its been too long between pg in here !!
Hi to everyone else, hope your all doing ok
-
hey Em, That is a cute belly. With all of mine i got bigger each time. the first i was preg in my back so i had a little bump and he was 2.5 wks late and i only looked 6mths preg at tops. By the time i had maddison, i looked like i was having twins and my back felt like it was going to break. they weighed 7'16, 5'2 (prem), 7'10 & 7'10 all in that order. both girls were both born at 38wks, but different lengths, but same weight. so this next one i will need to walk around with a makeshift belly trolley.....LOL so if you see on the news this beached whale rolling around, it will be me...LOL cheers kiya
-
HI onemore melbourne is too far me me LoL but I'll keep it in mind should I need it after all flights are fairly cheap these days...
I was going to go back to the hospital I had it done at (maitland ) and see if they will reverse it for me.
Ill explain my prob's with it and tell them that I was unstable at time of having them done.
(had during c/s, but mind you had a few rough months prior to the birth, my fundal height stopped growing at 30 weeks, and my belly stopped growing full stop.
they kept telling me that bub was ok and that she was supposed to be 6 ' 7, finally threw tears and screaming they decided to take her by c/s at 37 weeks and guess what she was not 6 '7 but only 5'4 (my daughter was starving and the hosp were fine with that...... I was not happy, a mum knows when something is wrong and it was my 5 th preg so I knew this was not right (the F/h not growing).
so I in haste said no more I was an emotional wreck and the hospital caused it by not listening to me. (they even said after that her blood flow was too fast between her and placenta, but kept it from me as they felt she was doing ok)
So that is why I had a T/L....
At the time all I could think was I'm done with pregnancy's, and doctors who dont know how to do their JOB.....
-
I think if I had not had her at 37 weeks she at full term could have been stillborn....
she came out starving, and went to ICU very low blood sugar levels....
Thankfully she didnt stay there long.
I thought she was soooo tiny, and I was in sooooo much pain....
-
mummy25, i tried to route with the hospital i had mine done at, but unfortunately if you had the procedure done in a public hospital they will not reverse it. Apparently it is a government thing not a hospital thing saying no. This is why the reversal is done in a private hospital and costs so much. i fought the same argument you want to fight, saying it was done in a public hospital and no cost to me, but it is going to cost me thousands to reverse it because you won't do it. I was also told why they don't do it in public hospitals anymore, because it is specialized microsurgery, and the equipment for it is quite expensive, hence once again why it is a private dr/hospital thing and costs a lot. If getting the money is big factor, then maybe IVF is the way to go. You really do have to weigh up the pro's & cons as it is going to be the biggest decision you will have to make and a costly one. It also helps to have your partner/husband totally on your side, because he has to take part in the whole process. I know for me at first, he wasn't to sure about it all, until we sat down together and we laid down all the pro's & cons and especially after not being able to have a reversal, he was the one who said that it was not over, and that we will do IVF, so you both have to be 100% wanting it. Cheers kiya
-
HI kira, wow I think I would be wasting my time after hearing about your attempt to get them to do it in a public hospital.
I think I will stick to the Ivf.
I am going to ring them today and ask some questions and see when they will let me come in.
They might have to put me on the pill as my cycle is all over the place, but I'm hoping it wont be too long for my first attempt.
I am scared of those needles though, saw a pic on here of someone's belly bruised from them.
Am I just worried or will it hurt like Hell.
I figure if I can go through births and c/s, I can do Ivf and it should not be as bad....
-
mummy25....the needles won't hurt trust me.... in my last preg with my daughter, i had both a grade 4 placenta preavia, as well as a DVT at the same time. The foudn i had the palcenta preavia at at 17 weeks and DVT at 19 weeks so i spent pretty much the rest of my preg in hospital. I had to inject myself in my belly 2 tiems a day. I thought i wouldn't be able to do it, but trust me it was a breeze. the only time i started to get dh doing it was near the end of my preg and i had to inject in my butt, because my belly became like leather and i couldn't grab any of the excess skin. cheers kiya
-
Ahh  Mummy25... they dont hurt only the trigger shot does which is given 36hrs before egg pick up. But yes you do get some bruising like i did but it dont hurt. And anyway what are you worried about a little needle for!!!??? You have given birth to two babies and had 3 c/s come on girl you need a can of harden up  . Would one of you girls PLEASSSSSE just jump in feet first and do it. No pressure now hehehe
-
Kiya you can go first and tell me Just how much that trigger shot Hurt's......:cryinglaugh::clap::lol:
-
hi just to let you know that i had a test yesterday and it came up neg but he told me to have a blood test so i did that this morning...

-

-

-

-
