    Question Animal spirit orbs/visions?

im guessing this is the right place to post a question about this, or rather find out if its possable.
    ~some background~
Two years ago DH had a cat run over out the frount at a house he once rented. The night Rocket (the cat) died DH swears he saw a 'shadow' cat in the glass door, that moved faster then any animal could. we both agree that it may have been her spirit leaving her body... about two weeks following that i saw this rockets orb once and there was also a BAD accident near by to this house ( a young women lost her life) DH slept through this (always been a light sleeper) and had a dream he saw this cat, and her purring blocked out the sound of the horrid smash. is it possable she was protecting him?
I've got a little history when it comes to feeling spirits. i've seen my uncle die in a dream, in the dream i watched his spirit move from his body though the roof and into the next world and woke when they pronounced him dead (5:07am Jan 10 '01), knew my grandfather would be dead within 12 hours, 6 hours later he'd passed on. the dog i grew up with ended up with cancer the day we found out was the day she was put to sleep - i told my father after school "its cancer isnt it and she's going to die" before he could say a word (i knew she had a vet appt that day) and i guess with rocket the night she died i begged DH to go out and look for her, telling him she wasnt that far from him...next morning he went out to go to work, she had been hit by a car and killed. she was looking at the house...after the orb, the bad smash even FIL (who is FAR from a beliver in this kind of thing) swears he heard her in the kitchen...

    ~the questions~
Now we've been in our house a little over 18 months. its three streets (maybe less) from where rocket died. I guess i want to know - is it possable for a spirit to move with you? becuase in the last say month or so i keep seeing a 'shadow' cat out of the corner of my eye. and feeling like there is one of our cats in the room, but turn around a see nothing. is it possable that Rocket is with us now, standing by for when labour starts? is she guiding us though this time, protecting us as she did for DH with the crash? i know it sounds strange but i've been thinking about it and *trying* to open my self up to feel her. i havent seen her orb like i did in the old house (DH was with me when i did and said my eyes opened really wide like i was shocked) but im wondering if she is with us now. DH said he cant feel her in the house, i tend to agree but when i see this 'shadow' cat i wonder if she wants to be seen not just felt..KWIM? i guess i want to know as well is it possable she's 'come back' to watch over our child? to keep them safe from harm or am i taking it a little too far?

so i guess in short, is it possable for animal spirits to move with you and is it possable that they can protect/guide you with out always being 'felt'?

    any ideas any one?

baby_blip, oh sweetie I am sorry to hear of the loss of rocket. Do they ALWAYS stay around us? No, I don't believe they do; they have things to do just as our spirit people do. But I do know they check in here and there just like our spirit people. They can follow us, and most often do, they can pop in and out of our homes when they feel like it. As spirit is free, and can be anywhere one is in just a moment of thought. She sounds like a beautiful cat to me and I feel she must have had a very strong bond with her family. She see's what is going on in your home and wants to make sure she is not left out in anything lol. She still feels she needs to "Mother" you all. Many people know their spirit pets are around because they'll hear, feel or see them near after the pet has passed away. Our spirit animals love us unconditionally just like they did when they were here on the earth plane, and do hang around us when they aren't busy themselves - again, just like spirit people.

Keep them in your prayers and just remember to keep talking to them. They can hear you!

I think they stay around us aswell, and i have had a similar thing happen with my DH and his dog, we had just moved to Adelaide and for the first few weeks DH was there on his own without me, he had been staying in a friends unit where Molly the dog wasnt allowed, so she was a few streets away at another friends house and DH would walk her up and dpwn a main street between the unit and the house she was at.. well we ended up renting a house on that main street , but sadly the night before we officially moved in, Molly was hit by a car, she had broken out of the back yard and was trying to get to the unit, and was hit directly in front of the house we were due to move into.

We moved in and i had my dog Sam, and at night we would hear him running up and down the hall way, only we could hear TWO sets of dogs paws on the wooden floors, sometimes at either end of the long hallway. We think it was Molly playing with him.

While i like to think she has stayed with us- we havent heard her anywhere else we have lived, so i guess she moved on and is busy somewhere else- but we definately beleive it was her playing with Sam.

I don't really know what I believe about animal spirits, but my cat was also run over and killed quite a few years ago. While she was still missing I went walking the streets one night looking for her and I saw a "shadow" cat in the middle of the road. I called out to her and she started walking away and then vanished into thin air. I knew then that my cat had gone (my step dad found her later that night). Maybe it was her way of saying goodbye?
