    The Crows....

I dont really know how to explain this or what im looking for in regard to explanations, but ill just dive in.....

For the last 6 days, every morning when i get up and go outside to see our dogs there are 2 black crows sitting on the fence opposite our patio area. Usually when you go any where near birds they flap and fly away, but these 2 birds just sit there and watch me - it totally freaks me out and i guess i wouldn't be so worried if it was a one off thing, but its been the last 6 days and they only fly away once i go inside. - i doubt they are the same birds, but im finding it increasingly unnerving to go outside each morning knowing they are going to be there

All the reading ive done suggests that black crows are not a "good" sign and i'm just worried - i've had enough "bad" stuff in my life and don't think i can handle anymore

Any advice on these birds, or is it really just a coincidence?

Crows in some traditions/histories are holders of souls who have passed. Are there parents/grandparents that have passed in your family?

Oooh sorry I didn't see this thread before. I've had similar things in the past...it's important to note from a completely non-metaphysical viewpoint that crows are very intelligent and curious creatures, and very attached to their own territory, so it could be they have "moved in" and are sussing out whether you are a threat, possible source of food, whatever. For example, we had some who would watch for when the dog food went out but the dog went in and then hop down and have a feed

The other thing is that the symbology of crows (and ravens, because they could actually be ravens) is that they tend to be viewed as messengers from spirit, and not necessarily "bad omens". They also govern things like exploring the hidden realms, shapeshifting (in a shamanic sense), and altered consciousness. It's up to you to explore intuitively whether you feel the universe is urging you to "pay attention" to something at this time (information coming) or whether it's just a natural occurence.
