I remember my mum and dads wedding, I recall being annoyed and confused at being passed around to so many different people.
Mum always laughs at me as I was only 1 year old (just) she doesnt think I actually remember it, but its clear as day, more the feelings than the actual pictures, also the smell of my auntys perfume "white linen" always brings it back...

yeah for me it's funny because i can recount entire conversations that mum had with her mates while i was seemingly gooing and gaaing all over the place (but evidently totally eavesdropping lol). it really makes me think twice (or thrice lol) about what i say and how i act in front of my girls.

in a sense i have to remind myself that just because a baby cannot 'communicate' in words with me doesnt for a moment mean that they cant communicate or understand ITMS.

I remember just after we arrived in Australia (we moved from England) we went to the beach, and I lost a My Little Pony. I remember being really upset about it and my dad telling me when I grew up the Pony would know were I live and come and find me and be my own real life Pony I would have been 2yrs old

Very silly memory, but very vivid none the less!!

btw....im still waiting for the Pony.....

I swear I remember lying in a pram while Mum was pushing and she would constantly push back and readjust the sun shade. I also believe she was walking down the street behind the street we lived on.

I remember a flood with the weir having water across it and red mud, slipping and sliding holding my Dad and my godfathers hands. Mum was pregnant with my sister so I was about 2.

my earliest memory is still kinda freak early so i'll start with a later one...

i remember lying in my bonds wondersuit (yellow) and i was sharing the cot with my mate shane (yep, well before SIDS awareness) (oh and he was wearing a white bonds) and we were meant to be going to sleep and i was totally not impressed. he looked up at me and began to fall asleep and i was felt totally betrayed by him as i was hoping for a cacophony of sound to bring the house down (ie bring the women back lol).

ANYWAY he fell asleep. i remember lying prone on my back and banging my arms then turning my head to my side and getting cross. yelled out. ALOT. my mum musta been a Controlled Crying kinda woman lol. the Shane's mum walks in and leans over the cot and yells out to my mum: "yep, told ya, it's yours!" (referring to me being the yeller) and i remember thinking 'of course it is!'. much to my horror she thought it was funny and just laughed and walked back out....not happy jan. then the memory stops. no doubt i finally passed out lol.

Wow cassius, that sounds early. It's an interesting insight from a babies perspective. I always get irritated when people treat babies as lesser human beings just because they cant talk.

My earliest is dad holding me over a pond looking at the ducks. One of my first words was 'quack'. I think i was about 18 months.
