Ok I believe that my two year old is seeing spirits in his room, it has only happened a few times in the past month, he has been waking screaming or even just after he has been put to bed he will become hysterical.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what I can do to help him not be as scared?
What else, besides him being scared, makes you think he is seeing spirits?
Amanda, 2 yo is old enough to teach him about his angels (guides) and how to say a prayer and know they are there protecting him when he is scared.
However, it is possible that he's just having night terrors which is quite a common thing at that age as well. Either way, if you can give him a ritual like calling in his angels, turning on a night light in his room or something else that helps him to feel safe and empowered, he might cope a bit better with it, kwim?
Amanda- have you had any progress?? I beleive my little boy see's spirits- he is only 9 weeks old- but he constantly looks off to the distance at "seemingly nothing" and more often than not he smiles at whatever is there- however on a few occassions- he also starts crying- Dh says that he thinks it is his Grandfather- and when he is old enough to talk we are going to ask him who he is looking at.
