Sarahs guardian angel

I am convinced that Sarah has a guardian angel watching over her. I do believe in them but haven't had anything that stands out as being an act from them. Plus I wouldn't even know who would be my angel. No one really close to me has passed.
But anyway, the reason I'm posting is that today Sarah had a near miss that could have been really bad if not fatal (little bit dramatic but true).
She was happily playing in the lounge room while I was pottering around the house and keeping an eye on her. She went quiet whilst I was in the other room so I popped my head around to find her missing. . I automatically went to the back door, which has a baby gate across the frame. The gate was open (not shut from last entry/exit) and the back door wide open. Oh, BTW, we are on the second floor!
My heart was in my throat even though I hadn't heard any noises that suggested that she was out there. But she was! The little terror was four steps down and still descending. I am so thankful that I have taught her to go down backwards off the bed, she was using that technique to get down. It could have been disasterous as the steps are open and concrete at the bottom. I was amazed at how clever she was to get down but horrified with myself for not being more vigilant.
I swear it was her angel keeping a close eye on her. I would love to find out more about who her angel is and even mine...?

Oh Kate how scary. Thank god, no her angel ,she is ok!
i totally believe it would have been someone watching over her! the is a great book that we have called "Thank you, Angels" By Doreen Virtue. Its a great way to introduce angels to your kids to let the know they are there to help!
