I had my mirena put in just under a month ago and so far no problems. It hasn't affected my b/f and I haven't been unusually cranky or moody (more than normal anyway). I'm still spotting but it is really light and hopefully it will stop soon. I'm going to give it six months and decide if it is a keeper or not. This is our contraception for a few years until DH has the snip. The one thing that DH has commented on is he can feel the strings when we DTD. It's not painful (for him) it just annoys him every now and then.
