Hi,
I have just had an early m/c. 2 weeks ago i had a light AF (mine are always light) and then tested positive 3 days ago. I ovulated on June 1st and only tested because I spotted for 1 day a few days after AF had finished. Had an internal done yesterday and they couldn't see anything.
So could my AF had been the m/c? Or is it more likely I will start to bleed in the next few days?
Did they do a blood test at all? is it at all possible it is just too early to see anything? What did they tell you after your scan? is there going to be any follow up?
Sorry for all the questions, I'd hate to get your hopes up for nothing...so sorry this has happened.
I would assume you would just start bleeding lke AF but a bit heavier and crampier, I have had 2-3 chemical pregnancies in the last 6 months (tested positive, very faintly, 2 days before AF, AF then turned up 3-4 days late, very heavy and messy, painful.)
My first MC was a missed one at 9-10 weeks, baby didnt grow past 4-5 weeks, I needed a d&c for that one though.
How are you holding up? Hope you are ok xox
Thanks starrysky, I get BT results Monday. But i never had any PG symptoms except slightly tender boobs, and today they don't really hurt at all. The lady at the scan was confused as i had a + test on Wednesday (28 DPO), would have been almost 6 weeks PG according to my calendar, but nothing on the screen. She said it was most likely an early M/c
I'm just thinking if you had AF 2 wks ago that could possibly be the mc, OR it was AF and you've since O'd and are now PG? meaning yu would nly be 2-3 wks s definitely to early to see.
have you tested at all since? I know it can take a while for the hcg levels to go down, but, you could possibly try one of those new ones that tell you how pregnant you are? (clearblue digital?)
Hmm...well, it will be interesting to see what your BT results come back with.
Again, so sorry, but It does seem like somethings not adding up.
I am thinking the same as Becca - without the bloods test result and then a follow up one a week later, you won't really know for sure what is happening unless you start bleeding.
In my experience hun, MC are usually much heavier, longer and clottier than regular periods.
If your calendar has you at 6 weeks then really you'd be 3-4 weeks depending on when ovulation occured. I don't want ot get your hopes up but the bleed could have been an implant bleed. Its not surprising if nothing was picked up in the scan it could be too early. OH and FWIW not everyone has morning sickness symptoms. My bestie wouldn't have known she was pregnant if she had not missed her period. Even now she only knows she's pregger because she has seen the scan.
THAT SAID - it is possible that you have already passed the developing foetus. Maybe it wasn't developed enough to have adjusted your period.
Wait until you get your bloods back and I would resist the urge to do ANY further POAS testing until another 2 weeks have passed.
