if you want to resume BF after the ab's, can you pump and dump for a while? it's not ideal, but it's an option

sorry to hear you're going through this. like it's not hard enough to go through a loss - you don't need this extra crap on top

Oh hun, like things aren't bad enough already

Make sure you take Inner Health Plus or Yakult or something every day to stop the AB's form damaging your stomach lining. Apparently taking them with milk can also help, but I'm not sure if thats an old wives tale or not. Did you end up having the D&C hun?

Oh hell, you are having an awful time of it. You poor poor thing. I agree with the ringing and pump/dump plan. Just stopping temporarily rather than giving up the whole shebang.
One day, this will be a memory and things will be better. That's my mantra.

thank you ladies for your advice

    I decided to finish feeding

I think 22 months and 2 weeks and a bit is long enough for us

he is a BIG boy and looks more like a 3yr old sometimes ( I get comments)

Not just that , It was my plan to wean him this year before his birthday so we are only 6 weeks early

    He is handling it great

He said bye bye to boobies ( other thread)

and today when he went to ask for them he said h Yuk boobies No:

I guess he understands now so its ok by me if hes happy

He went down to sleep last night and to nap today without bf and is sleeping through the night for a change

Maybe the offer of the breast was getting him up of a night,

    Thanks again

It's your choice, 22 months you have much to be proud of

But if I have been told by a doctor that I 'cant' feed with a certain med Im on, I call the Royal Women's Hospital Drug line and they give me the run down, info and real answer

big for you, as if you don't have enough to deal with.

I'm glad your DS is handling weaning so well, he must of been ready anyway
