wow, it must be so hard knowing you have to wait, why cant you get a scan earlier?? its good that your levels have risen. i have my fingers crossed for you!
Thinking of you and hoping for some good news for you.... :crossfingers:
:crossfingers: for you too Diamond Girl
Hi Cheezel Monster
Have read through your posts....Sorry you are going through such a difficult time.
Can I offer a little bit of advice???
I think you should keep positive and, I hope you don't mind me saying, remove the miscarriage symbol from your ticker, because despite what you may fear, you havent miscarried. Having it there keeps you in a pessimistic state of mind which is not good for anyone --- especially you!
In the meantime...
1. Remember, fear is just a thought. It is not a reality. You have not miscarried. Your doctor has told you this.
2. You can go into any emergency room of a public hospital and get a scan. It wont cost a thing. I really strongly advise you do this today to put your mind at ease.
3. Every pregnancy is different. What you "feel" in one, you might not in another. Similarly, every stage is different. Hormones (which cause the "symptoms") fluctuate. When I was pregnant with my DD I didnt feel pregnant at all until the second trimester. And I bled large bright red clots for months into the pg.
4. I can categorically state that no doctor would be telling you something false or misleading to "spare your feelings". Not only is it unethical, but it would leave them open to potential lawsuits down the track. They simply would not do it. My strong feeling is if your doctor thought you were miscarrying, she would tell you to prepare for the worst. Or, at least, to go to bed and rest, etc, etc.
5. If you dont trust your doctor, for whatever reason - and it sounds like you dont - go to another doctor, or another three doctors, if that's what it takes!!! Again, if I were you, I would be going to the nearest public hospital emergency room. They will scan you straight away.
6. Stay positive, get lots of rest and be kind to yourself.
I hope i havent sounded harsh. I really just want you to start looking at this as rationally as you can. From what I have read, it sounds like you are in great shape with this pregnancy! I really wish you the best of luck!!!
Take care x

My HCG levels had a slow rise at about the same stage, 32,000 and 3 days later only 38,700, not even close to doubling and progesterone was 77 (which is good), for me it indicated the loss of a twin all of which was indicated on a number of scans done at the time, it was also accompanied by a lot of large red bleeds which lasted until 12 weeks, and I continued to have smaller bleedsall the way through to delivery when I did any walking or too much which really wasn't much at all... (it ended up being a large clot behind the placenta).
I would definitely try to get an earlier scan, Friday is a long time to wait, go to the ER and explain that you have been bleeding, they can do the scan there, and get an trans vaginal one done as it is much more conclusive than and normal one at this stage.
Big big :hugs: and thinking of you, and after the complications and iccues I had during my pregnancy I am amazed that I have a little person in the swing right now, she held on for dear life the whole time.
Take care and I am thinking of you as I know all to well what it is like to go through what you going through right now and I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy :(
Just lots of  and praying you get some good news
This happened to me with my 4th m/c. I actually thought I was still experiencing m/c symptoms from an earlier loss in Dec 08, however my HCG levels were around 3,000ish which is consistent with a pg @ approx. 5 week - OBS thought this was another pg & loss given those levels - this pg/loss was in Feb 09.
I also was 'behind' my dates for my DD. I thought I was about 9 weeks, but I was dated back to 7.5 weeks - seemed I O late....
Oh CM.. Im thinking of you. I know exactly how you feel. And hope that all is well regardless.
Hugs
Thanks for being here for me girls.
Yesterday I kinda woke up and felt...different. I still have barely any symptoms and I still have little hope, but I don't feel so tortured by what is going on. I feel like all I have done over the last few weeks is cry and obsess over all the what ifs. I can't keep going on that way. I can't spend the next week freaking out, it's not healthy and it's not helping. So I am just not thinking about it, I feel a lot calmer and able to cope.
They want me to have the next scan when I'm over 7 weeks by their dates, because according to them I'm just behind. I'm willing to wait as at least it will be a definite answer this way. They can't say it's just too early again, if that makes sense. I'd love to have a scan right now but this way there will be no mistaking the outcome. I'm normally pretty impatient so I'm surprising myself :D
Still spotting every now and then but haven't had cramps for a couple of days now. Oh and my nipples have just started hurting today so I am pretty confused!
 It sounds really confusing babe! Am keeping everything crossed that it all turns out well! xxx
CM, that is great that you are in a lot calmer place right now. Thats where you need to be to help keep the stress down. And its fair enough them wanting to wait another week for a scan so 'their dates' are higher.
Good luck over the next week and keep us posted. Hopefully you will wake up one of these mornings and be hit on the head with pregnancy symptoms from your bubba telling you everything is a-ok.
Talk about mental torture. Understand where you're coming from with waiting. Sending loads of strength to help you through. Still got everything crossed that bub is ok.
Just read through the thread. Keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you and sending you lots of strength and support.
I hope this was just a scare.
I know what you mean about the waiting because Im right there with you. Ive cried and cried, but the only thing that keeps me going is that I have hope. At least by waiting for the next scan you will know the outcome. It is so very hard...
I wish you all the best for your scan next week. I hope both our bubs have caught up or at least have grown from the last scan. You are in my thoughts.
fingers crossed here for you, sending lots of hope that it is all ok.
CM im glad to see ur feeling a bit calmer....if i would be thinking if you're dr knew you felt the way u do would do an u/s sooner....odd
wishing u all the best
 How confusing!
Hoping for the best for you xx
big hugs
hang in there, babe ... answers soon ... for you that bub is healthy and happy, and growing well for you!
CM- I know what your going through. I also have been spotting and having some slight cramping. I had HCG and u/s everything looked fine..but I havent had a 2nd BT done yet to see if HCG is rising. I guess its just I wish if it were to happen than for it to happen. I dont like waiting as it makes it worse as you probably know. The Dr.s always try to make it seem like everything is better than it is..BUT...I hope in our case we get blessed with happy news...Keep us updated
After a significant blood loss yesterday and a trip to ED, it is with a heavy heart that I confirm my worst fear of a miscarriage :(
HCG taken which showed a decrease. I am currently waiting for the imaging department to ring with a time for my ultrasound, have been told to expect the worst.
Thank you to all you gorgeous ladies for all your advice and support over the last few stressful weeks :grouphug:
