Question what about my cycle after m/c??

    Hey all

just trying to work out my dates now so i can ttc asap. I just m/c'd, blighted ovum. Started bleeding on 14th dec (a happy birthday for me!). I was told by one doctor to consider it a normal period and it should resume as per normal... but doctors can say anything regardless of whether it's right or wrong (i'm not always their biggest fan).

Just wanted to know your thoughts or experiences? If i started bleeding on 14th, i should O on or around 27/28th. Of course, this is if my cycle is on track and not delayed for any reason. I just wanna get my BFP finally.

If anyone has thoughts, please share them

    Thanks so much!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I had an early loss last year and it did not change my next cycle very much. I think it was only a week longer than usual. I was pregnant that next cycle with my son.

Oh Laney, that's fantastic news! It must be so great to have that BFP so soon. I really hope for the same with me, but it's all up to nature at the end of the day isn't it?

I have told my partner to be prepared... he's going to need a lot of energy over christmas hehehe. I normally know my body's signs when i'm about to O... but i guess I just want to know when to expect it also

    Congrats on your baby

Ciara - I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I also had a miscarriage on my birthday so I really wanted to respond when I read your post. I fell pregnant the very next cycle, I think my O was delayed by about 2 days and the EDD I have been given puts me about there. Good luck with TTC, it's certainly an interesting journey isn't it!!

I'm so sorry for your loss .

I had a m/c in January of '07 and was pg again in Feb with DS2, so I fell pg the very next cycle.

I wish you the best of luck

Oh great news Maz. Thanks for sharing. I'm so happy to hear all the wonderful BFPs after m/c. I think seeing my own BFP would be the greatest christmas gift i could get. Aargh, i'm so sentimental - getting all emotional now!

Hoping everyone has a great christmas!!!

Geez...how common is it to m/c on your birthday??? same happened to me last year. When I m/c in sept, it took just under 6 weeks to get 1st af then 34 days (which is normal for me) for the 2nd. Really hope you get your bfp soon xxx
