it still hurts 7 years later

I can't believe that 7 years has passed since we lost our baby at 19 weeks. It was a devastating result after a very traumatic pregnancy filled with tests, scans, amnio. It still hurts like it was yesterday, even after having delivered a healthy baby less than 12 months later. What hurts the most, is people forget. People that should remember their niece and grand daughter have moved on and its not mentioned. Her name doesn't get said, she is not included as a number when grand children are mentioned. I know she is in heaven with her grand father keeping me safe but I just want people to realise that she is my baby, my daughter, just as special to me as my earth children. Just because she wasn't at term when she passed doesn't make her any less significant.

I am so sorry for your loss and other peoples lack of support and empathy . Happy 7th Birthday to your precious girl. May your day today be about the beautiful memories you had, no matter how quickly they were gone. Sending love and strength. Do you mind sharing your beautiful daughters name? You may prefer not to, I understand for privacy. Be kind to yourself today

thankyou Danita and Lily Dust, we named our little girl Max. The hospital messed up with the amnio results and told us she was a boy, so we named her after her grandfather Norman Maxwell. After we delivered her and realised she was in fact a girl, we didn't have the heart to change her name.

Happy 7th Angelversary to your precious Max, gorgeous name. It does hurt when your angel isn't remembered, my girls will openly talk about their angel brother and it just brings so much joy knowing that they are thinking of him. Sending you much love and .

    Regards,
    Dianne

Happy birthday to your little girl. It's hard for other people to wrap their head around I think. So they just avoid it.
    The important people remember xx
