My 2.5 yr old DD has been toilet training for two weeks and when we are at home alone she is fine never has accidents, just takes her self every time without being reminded BUT...
whenever we have other kids here it seems she is unable to control it and will wee on the floor without telling me.
Is this normal?
Does it pass once they get the hang of it a bit more?
And what do you do in the mean time? I am reluctant to use nappies in the day time but I guess we might have to when there are kids around as I guess she gets too excited?
Perfectly normal. She is distracted by playing with the kids and the last thing on their mind is going to the toilet. DD1 toilet trained with wees & poos in 3 weeks, but if we had visitors, or went somewhere, I would have to remind her a lot more to go to the toilet. It will pass. There's no timeline on these things, it'll just happen. Keep her in undies, but remind her, or take her to the toilet more often when she's distracted.
