Strip wash for front loader..

Ok, so I bought a couple of Monk & Bear second hand from the facebook page and they smell pretty strongly of urine ewww

So I was wondering if anyone knows how to do a strip wash (I've googled it and it seems this is what you do to get rid of the smell) for a front loader..


Do you still put washing liquid in the washing powder dispenser? My hubby would kill me if I stuff the washing machine, not to mention it would make using cloth not so cost effective if I have to replace said washing machine lol

for smell Ill use a warm wool wash then an extra long rinse cycle (woolwash on the quick 30 min wash,and press the 'super rinse' button) then rely on the sunlight/uv to kill anymore nasties
