    Question Cloth Wipes

I have found that although I buy wipes, I can never find where they are. I have fleece cut into strips (I have no idea what kind of fleece - just fleece - of some sort!) that I use inside ds cloth nappies... Instead of wipes that you buy, I've been using them... It gets most of the muck off, it leaves smears - of sorts.

What can I use to "dip" the fleece in to make it a little more easier to clean ds? Or soak them in? I do also have some chux stuff that I can dedicate to ds's bum too! What can I use?

(pls excuse the grammar - I'm tired and at work!)

Rhianon, I use BBH cloth wipes, but I think some girls have found a face-washer in BIG W which works well too, or you could make your own. I just soaked them in water with a bit of Gaia moisturiser. I think you can use pretty much anything.

Rhianon - if you have a spotlight near you, they sell washers in packs of 10 for $5. A lot better to use then fleece (which won't absorb). Water's just fine, or you can make up a mixture of water, baby oil and baby bath to soak them in. If you have a tupperware container, just make up the mixture in that and either squeeze the washers in that, then store in a lunchbox, or a snap-lock bag.
