Carol Cline's Toilet Training Method?

Has anyone tried Carol Cline's 'Start Potty Training' method - books CD etc? (start potty training dot com).
The testimonials are quite staggering, but I wanted to know if I could get some more unbiased feedback before I place an order!!

I will say this though, no amount of coaxing, rewards or bribery will work until the little one has decided they are ready

ETA had a look and it seems convincing. I am a bit sus though about those huge webpages with testimonials that read like an infomercial!

I agree.. when they're ready there's very little training involved

I don't like those huge webpages either. Usually crafted by clever affiliate sellers. hehe.

Mmmm- yeah. Testimonials are kinda void I think when they are posted on your own webpage!! Its not too pricey, but I'm still unwilling to fork out the $ without some unbiased reviews!!

Hmm to be honest, I'm not convinced. Of course they will only put the good testimonials on the website, and not the ones that say "umm your so-called fantatsic method didnt work for us". It sounds too polished and infomercially to be real testimonials. Yes they say it has been 97% effective.. but just seems a bit sus to me. Alot of those kids were probably ready anyway, so of course it was quick.

I would be inclined to just wait till your little one is ready (instead of forking out the $ on something that no one can personally recommend to you, iykwim.. its not that expensive but still). If they're ready, there is usually not much training involved. Its not a competition on how early your child is out of nappies.
