how many MCN?

ive been looking into using MCN and it seems people have such massive amounts of them. What is the minimum amount you could buy to get by with?

From birth, I think you need about 24 minimum. But you can squeeze by with maybe 18 if you wash often and can dry them quickly.

I've bought 28, so I'll be washing every 2 days I'd say.

I have about 30 but she is not in them overnight. I just find that a couple of wet days in a row and my stash gets very low.
I usually do a wash everyday and is great during summer they dry fast and have no problems with running out but like I said a few wet days and I run out.

yep - 20-30 to start off with, but I used flats and prefolds to begin with and used about 4-5 covers until she fit into small and mediums. I did get some onesize fits all, but my chubby bubby needed side snapping sized nappies and only fits into the OSFA now. There are a number of websites that have both new and used for sale to make it a bit more cost effective. Some also have layby to make it easier leading up to bubs birth.

thanks ladies..... how long do they take to dry, cause i thought i would just handwash as i use them.
