A little woohoo for DD!!

Ok, so nothing actually in the potty as yet but DD actually asked to go to the toilet and wanted to do it all by herself. She pulled her pants down, took her nappy off and sat down

It's been an up and down hill journey thinking that we were on the right path just to turn a corner and feel like as DD is almost 3 now. But the other day I introduced 2 pieces of metallic cardboard - on the pink one i used various stickers to spell out, "Because I tried" and she gets to put smiley face star stickers on everytime she has a go at going to the toilet and on the gold card I spelt out "DD did it" and she has fun apple shaped stickers that she knows she can stick on when wees or poos are achieved.

After feeling like we were going backwards with multiple false starts, I really am proud of DD for this little moment

woohoo, well done! the charts sound like a great idea.

I got the potty out a fe days ago to see if DS would have any understanding of the concept, and i think it is WAAAAAY to early, might put it away for a while i think, im in no rush though.

YAY YAY YAY, isn't it great. I found the stickers worked really well for Mackenzie and we still use it now for good behaviour.
