Lost in the land of MCN....

i am SICK of buying 'sposies and seems DS is almost toilet trained i want to get DD into MCNs.
I have tried this before, and failed terribly lol.
We tried itti bitti AIO & SIO and also the cushie tushie AIO (i think?)
But both left the kids feeling damp on the outside of their clothes...
I also tried the ecobubs night time wool nappy and that failed as well
    Any ideas?
I would love to give them all a 'try' but i just dont have the money to do that

    Hey RR

Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with mcn! If I was you I'd go back to basics to try and find out what the problem is. Firstly, checking that the nappy is on properly..firm around the tummy and legs, making sure there's no gaps at all. Sounds simple but I know so many people who say mcn haven't worked but they haven't put the nappy on firm enough so there's been little leaks everywhere. Also, not all nappies fit all babies, some need side snap ones for example. Then I'd look at absorbancy and see if perhaps the nappy has been left on for too long, not boosted enough, or not washed enough times etc.
Just some ideas anyway! Hope you can find a great solution.

FB has a page call buy & sell your MCN's. theres heaps available second hand but some hardly used, or u could just ask for the kind ur after, the ppl are very generous!
we use mostly BBH and monkey doodlez during the day, only get leaks if she has big naps.
at n ight we use maz nights and BBH night and have never had a leak out of either

CT's are pretty poo hun, i dont think it'd matter how much u boosted them. most nappies go by kilos, so if u know how heavy she is that would be a start

Is she a heavy wetter? I found i had to change DS1's nappy more often than DS2's. How often do you change them? DS1 could only go max 2 hours. Best absorbent nappies i have though are Abby Gro nappies.
