Need Cloth Diaper Help!

I am so frustrated I could cry. I have been researching cloth diapers all day and coming up empty. Here is my problem:
I have small babies..like 5 lbers.
I WANT to just buy a huge lot of BumGenius AIO's that last until she is almost 2....but the weight limit starts at 7 pounds.
What to do!

Just subbing as my first DD was very small too (5 lb 10 oz). I'm wondering whether I have to do disposable with this one until she's big enough to fit the MCNs?

Have you considered prefolds?

Even with prefolds...I would still have to get a diaper cover and the diaper covers dont make ones that go very far. They are up to 12 lbs usually. Luckily, Grovia has a huge 30% sale so I might just have to suck it up and accept I will have to buy newborn cloth diapers and then the bigger ones..

BBH does covers from Newborn up, there are 4 sizes, this might help if using prefolds? Also, I know little britches does smaller sizing.

I'm not sure of your reasoning for using cloth, but if it is financial then you might want to weigh up the costs of buying a separate set of newborn stuff with the cost of sposies for a month or two till you get into your OFSMs...

Not that I am an expert (see signature!) as DS2 could go straight into his bambootys mediums from birth!
