at the moment i used a box of huggies recently then went back to aldi and TBH they are terrible! the fit on DD is awful, they get wing droop (cloth nappy talk here) and gap around the legs, shes in the 4-9kg ones as she is 7.9kg and i imagine the next size up would swamp her.
anyone else having issues? anyone gone from loving them to disliking them??
I too am using disposables this week, and can i just say.... THEY SUCK! They leak, fit terribly, they get massive leg gape, i have had poo-spolsions left right and centre.
I am not having the best week of my life and the washing got on top of me, but after the leaks in the last two days i have my cloth nappies flapping on the line!
ETA- Sorry didn't really answer your question, but felt good to vent!
awww hun that sucks, i havent had any pooplosions but after i saw the leg gape today if shes pood like she did earlier i would have had it everywhere!! im glad im not the only one with aldi issues!
Never tried the Aldi ones but I can say that I have never had a prob with the Coles Baby Love ones. They are heaps thinner than Huggies but they hold DD's poopsplosions and are a good price.
We dont have a prob with Huggies here but they are only a night nappie for us as they are too expensive.
yeah it's weird, we had J in the crawler ones and he kept having poo explosions. so then dh bought him some toddler ones (the green pack) and they're going really well. not sure why?
Id say its probably a bad batch, although I havnt had to use nappies for a couple of years I will be starting to use them again in a few weeks and have bought aldi ones.
DD has been having lots of explosion lately and she is in the crawler nappies. It's not just been the last week or 2, it's been for a while now. I just thought it was her as I never had any problems with DS ( and still don't, but he's up in the big sizes).
Hmm....
We didn't like the Aldi ones but i REALLY loved the ones from Babies R Us. I can't remember the brand but they are in a green box. I found them just as absorbant as some of the more expensive ones and used them as a night nappy too. They work out really cheap too about 29c a nappy. I think they were only about $35 a box.
We use baby love too when I forget to get other nappies.
Sorry, can't help you hun. I used Huggies last week, and I thought they sucked. Was very happy to go back to Aldi ones this week. As you know I'm using them all the time, as I'm not keeping up with regular washing but of course DS is older than M, so maybe the faults are less obvious, if that makes sense?
I use aldi nappies never had any trouble with them, to be honest i bought a box of huggies when last on sale and i hate them, they didnt fit right at all.
Maybe it was a bad batch, id take them back.
Nothing like a cuddle from DD after a hard day's work!

The aldi nappies didnt fit my DD well at all, they always leaked aand especially from the back and it seemed like you can see the pee from the outside.
Hopefully yours was a bad batch if your DD never had an issue with them before.
