WooHoo! Tax return is back = i'm switching to cloth!
So excited! I've been waiting until the tax is back so i can switch over to cloth for DD (we are TT DS, so will just keep up with disposables for night for the time being)
Ok, so i think i'll buy some itti's and BG v3 to try... where are the cheapest places online to buy these? Can somebody PM me some links.
woohoo! Welcome to land of cloth
Definitely check out the itti bitti website and grab yourself some seconds. Heaps cheaper than normal price, and you can't really tell the difference.
Can't help you with bum g's though.
Ok, just checked out the itti site, and they have some sewn in delish seconds.
But then it asked me if i wanted to add in an extra booster. But i thought that if it was sewn in then it's an AIO and where would you attach the snaps to? And what is the difference between microfibre and bamboo boosters>
the extra boosters clip under the hourglass shaped typed booster that is sewn in. I use both of them (i got them as freebies) so I use them if I want extra boosting - like he's going for a nap - or a long car ride or something.
Bamboo is more absorbent - so I use that if I think he is going to need the added protection!!!
There is a actaul snaps for them
and i always get the snap in booster, i find it helps alot for those times you forget/get distracted about napy changes
Yael, Itti Bitti D'Lishes come in two types, snap in, and sewn in. Snap in have all the absorbency able to snap out for quicker drying. Sewn in, have some of the absorbency sewn in (closer to a 'true' AIO), and it's microfibre instead of bamboo that's sewn in, because bamboo takes longer to dry.
I thought the snap ins would poop all over the sewn ins, but I really like them both. I don't know which I like better. That's why the trial pack is also good, cos you get one of each. And any bulk pack, you can go half half.
Yael - I've just pm'd you in regards to a special on IB's.
In regards to snap ins vs sew ins, with the snap ins you can buy extra booster sets and just replace the boosters if the nappy is only wet, meaning you can reuse the shells, thats why I went for the snap ins.
I got one of the trial packs at the baby expo, which has both types, and both seem great to me!
You may even find that you DS and DD will fit in to the same size if your DS does need to wear one as my DD is wearing large in the IB, and she is only a few days older than your DD. I was told at the baby expo that the large should last me through to toilet training
