Hi All
I am pulling my hair out, my bub is 3 months, breastfed and has the runniest poos I have ever seen, I know this is normal. However every pooy nappy leaks straight through either up his back or out the sides. It stains all his clothes, the pram, the sheets, the lounge, where ever he is!! I have tried Huggies, Snugglers, Baby Love and the cheapy ones too.
Sorry Bundymum,
No great suggestions here. Sounds familiar and perfectly normal. I usually found that the huggies worked best as they were a tighter fit but every bub is different.
I know how you feel and that is the reason I went cloth! Caleb was a shocker for pooing out of his clothes and I had many middle of the night bed and bub changes which had him screaming down the house while I cleaned up. The last straw was when one leaked all over me when I was feeding him!
If you don't want to use cloth nappies then perhaps you could get some covers which would help contain the poo in there a bit so it hopefully doesn't leak out. You still may have to wash covers but that's got to be better than everything else!
Ahhh Yes like the plastic pants? That is a great idea. I dont really mind bout his clothes so much but the sheets and friends laps/clothes is a big no-no! Ill give them a go!!
