DS1 (3yo) has been fully TT during the day for over a year now, he was still wearing nappies to bed up until arounds xmas time - most mornings he was waking up dry so we decided to stop the nappies completely. He did really well to start with, only wetting the bed once or twice a week but lately he's been wetting the bed every night, or he'll wake up really early for the toilet but then he won't go back to sleep so he gets really tired by the end of the day. I'm so over washing sheets and blankets and with the weather getting cooler here it takes ages for the blankets to dry (I've also had to wash he's pillow a few this week) I've been doing some reading on how to tackle this and I have read quiet a bit of information that says you shouldn't limit their drinks and you shouldn't wake them before you go to bed otherwise they won't get used realising their bodies' signs that it's time to wake up and go to the toilet. What did you do when trying overnight TT? My thought's are that he is only three, surely it can't hurt if we wake him until he's a little older? Maybe if we do wake him, after a while he'll get used to waking and getting up for the toilet? Or should I just let him go and just put up with all the extra washing??
